Marigold
Genus: Calendula.
Species: Calendula officinalis.
7th April 2008. Planted a packet seeds in front yellow bed and in side garden. ?Also some in beds near path.
Grew very well but attacked by mildew mid summer, and started to die off. Most pulled out in August.
