Echinacea purpurea

Genus: Echinacea.

Species: Echinacea purpurea.

Seed sown in early March 2008. Kept on windowsill. Fairly good germination. Seedlings outside for hardening off around April 10th. Plan to plant out next week before going to Amenia.
Seedlinss in various beds. Grew to good size plants by August. Snails like them. Some in pot with Cleome. Will need to plant out in Sept. Look forward to flowers in 2009.
