It was a little plant from Wilkinson for a fiver I think. Can't believe how massive it has grown this year:)

I agree, nice plant in a nice pot. What is that little gray plant beside it Kasy?

the pot was a freebie from work. It's got a crack in it. I don't like black pots to be honest - wouldn't buy it if had a choice, lol
Klahanie - the plant to the right is Salix 'Hakuro Nishiki'. Soon it will be huge (I hope;-)

That's fab, Kasy. Which compost did you use and do you feed it? I seem to be very good at murdering my acers. I keep buying them in hope I'll improve....... :(

Hi Minihoney and sorry for late reply (having two part time jobs is hard;-)
I potted mine with bit of ericaceous compost - mixed it with general multipurpose compost. They like soil slightly acid. Keep feeding it with fertilizer for acid loving plants (rhododendron, azalea and camelia). It is growing in pot in a shady, sheltered spot. And will share a secret with you: I talk to my plants, lol
