This plant should be green, never ceases to amaze me the poor colouring of conifers grown in pots at Alpine shows.

Don't they get given appropriate feeds then ? Presumably not, what a shame.
It doesn't give a true representation of the plant really.

Nothing like the plant looks like in the open ground

Then I suggest you become a Judge at these shows and improve the standard of entries.
