Then you should really lap up all the above praise..my OH found it hard work digging out a pond 20 years ago..and this effort is enchanting and worth your considerable efforts!

Thanks I went down 4ft in the centre and could not get out lol. The fish are now 13 years old, I put their longevity down to the depth for winter and no pump.
