Gosh, I don't know. Didn't really pay any attention to that....I don't think it's anything exotic like you would find in your garden.
I've been doing a lot of "garden watching". Nothing spectacular.

It has really nice leaves. As you can tell I'm more interested in that plant than the Bird-of-Paradise because Strelitzia reginae is so very common here. :)

Strelitzia reginae plants are pretty amazing, though. I really feel lucky...because it's such a beautiful common plant. I really was amazed at the tremendous amount of plants growing here. They're all blooming under the Jacaranda trees in the medians. The San Diego Airport has thousands of them for a couple miles lining the median (I'll have to get a photo one day).
