I know what your saying. I enjoy all the ones in my neighborhood. I used to have many when I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area...a huge fence with almost every color you can think of. I only have them in pots now...although, I'd love to train one as a small tree like I've done in the past.

They grow much larger along the freeways here. Typically more than double the height of the one posted. I also see them climb up 80ft/24m tall palm trees.

We saw some gorgeous ones when we were on holiday earlier in the year.....a huge one up the side of a house and beautiful clipped ones at the cemetery at El Alamein...

These are so common in the Bay Area. I had them bloom just as well in Fremont. I had a huge fence with mixed colors. I wish I had a digital camera back then! :>)

Wow, that looks fantastic. It's a very common sight here as well. Almost bought a white one yesterday, then I saw it's thorns and put it back now. I'm not ready for that adventure yet.
