Yes it probably is. After reading about the set up my husband built me a 3ft x 3 ft box for the patio. We were so impressed with the results that this year he built 2 boxes 2'x4' and one box 2'x6' to fit around the edges of the patio, we moved the original box to a cement slab in the shade to use for shade plants, and grew lettuce and spinach early and now onions. For me, with bad knees it has been GREAT. Just outside the kitchen door and I can sit and work and grow lots in a small space. It really works and I'm a big fan.

I like the set of 4 planters. Just shows what can be done in confined spaces. I may well try my Peppers ahnd Tomatoes in one of my raised beds next year and give a rest to the onion bed. shall have to see. Great set, I think I will have to read up on the square foot garden.

I was very surprised at the amount of produce I could get out of just one 3'x3' box last year, so just had to go for more this year. We also have VERY clay soil and that combined with Arthritis makes the square foot plan ideal for me.

Nice and productive, still reclaiming my garden after the builders!!
Am going to try some of these next year... Good luck :-)
