Berkeley,Sandra,isnt a hot summer climate. 20c is pretty much the daily temperature in the warm months. And I'm pretty sure this cacti can take any UK temps. Just give it great drainage.

outside is not an option in winter Stan...we are mild compared to other areas in the UK..but we still get down to minus 4 or 5 for a week or two...but maybe if i planted one of mine outside in early summer it might flower....
