Erythrina falcata - Brazilian Coral Tree, Corticeira-da-Serra - Flowers

A close up of the Brazilian Coral Tree's flowers. They look like exotic parrot beaks. These trees are extremely showy when in bloom...unfortunately, my photos could never show the true brilliant orange/red of the flowers. Photo taken in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA on Oct. 18, 2009.

Thanks! Yes, these trees here are so very spectacular! It's very difficult to get a good photo because the flowers are so bright orange-red.
