How old is this tree ?
When I was a child, a large fig tree was thriving just past the end of our back garden. Each year, the fruits failed to ripen.. but I remember the pretty shape of the leaves. :o)

I think its about six years Ive had it!! I wish I was organised and kept a record of when I bought things!! the trouble is I have soo many failures Id be forever changing things. I think I have only ever had one fruit ripen, I have had lots of smaller fruits that just drop off. The trouble is Im away far to much in the Summer months and things are either flooded with rain and my watering time r wasnt needed or dry because I havent used it!!

What a lovely fig perhaps it needs replanting into a larger pot do you feed it. Love the flowering baskets too.

You could be right sixpence, the pot its in is inside that larger pot as I was told they do better with there roots restricted! I just use general garden pellets! any recommendations welcome.
