No, Bell. Sadly, it isn't. It certainly is a lovely plant, though. I would say it's a 'must' in my garden.
The sun actually appeared for me to take the photo, Karen! :-)

Is it really a whole year since we last saw this pretty Jasmine Barbara , that's scarey !

Yes - I'm afraid so. Time passes soooo fast! :-((

Is it in too much shade Sticki?
10 Nov, 2010
it is now ~ i moved it last year when i was doing some re-arranging and then forgot about it ~ i had better look it out tomorrow! i take it they need sun??

I think they flower better in a sunny position, yes. They'll grow in partial shade, but with fewer flowers. :-(

ah that explains it ~ thank you ~ will put it on my list of jobs!
so many helpful and knowledgeable people on here!

I hope mine looks as good as that next year. My white flowered Jasmine had some nice flowers on it this year: don't know what variety it is. I will get some photos of it next year (I have been saying this for the last 2 years!).

I failed miserably with Jasmine officinale - it just didn't grow! After three years, I decided it had to go - dug it up only to find that the plant was still pot-shaped! I learned from that - I should have teased out the roots, obviously.
I haven't tried any other Jasmines - I planted Clematis cirrrhosa instead. :-)))))

I wonder if that is the clematis I have? It has just started to flower these past few days: pinkish spots inside the petals.

Possibly C. cirrhosa 'Freckles', then. Lovely. I have three C. cirrhosas now - 'Freckles', 'Wisley Cream' and 'Lansdowne Gem'. All in flower now. :-)))
