It was built in the early 1800s. It was built on land where there was once an old orchard. My ancestors owned it.

I wrote a blog about the old garden and you can see it if you like. It's on the 3rd page of my blogs and called 'Looking Back ( another from my old page)'

I live in a house now and it's over 100 yrs old but not as old as the cottage

I moved from the cottage because the garden was too big and too steep. I wasn't able to look after it any longer because I have arthritis. :o(

It's horrible isn't it. But I try to do the best I can in spite of it.
I had an aunt who was a hair dresser. I used to stay there sometimes when I was little, and she would wash my hair in the shop and then I would sit under the hairdryer lol. I used to think it was fun :o)

thamks cottage gardener, its kinder semi rural we not far from dunham nat trust gardens and house. lots of horses here including our own lol ,no shops just 1 pub wot else do you need haha
