small jackfruit
Comments on this photo
this fruit has an amazing story, it is actually a bigger tree i just zoomed in on the fruit, the tree is about 7ft tall, but i had the fruit at around 7lbs and had it supported by a poll and covered to protect it from birds, i was sure that i had thought of everything to protect this fruit, one day i walked outside and saw a squrriel (no idea where it came from in an urban neighbor hood) eating my fruit, the animal had basically eating or shreded my entire jackfruit, it was a sad day haha i havnt had a fruit since.

That's horrible! Do you have a photo of the larger fruit?
There's one that's 10 feet tall a few miles from my house...however, it has no fruit. Here's the pic:

Congratulations! Did the fruit ripen for you?
When the tree is small, many times the fruit will be aborted.
