Last weekend LLanover Garden in Monmouthsire opened its gates to the public. Collection of magnolias, camellias, some rare specimens, stream, lakes, bridges - had lovely time, took plenty of pics - here is the first - of the round walled garden.

well -could be cheaper, I agree - but I would say £4.50 is reasonable to see something new, learn about new plants, pick up couple of ideas... ;-)
