A Red Admiral also photographed in 2007. I have only seen one speciman in my garden this year, they seem very scarce as are the Tortoiseshell butterflies shown in the next photo. which are usually quite abundant at this time of year.

Yep, me too Ado...one for the last couple of weeks....gone now though as most of the buddleias have finished. ......there are still 2 to flower.....:o)
