A secluded corner

A secluded corner

Small seating area under a eucalyptus tree.I also have Queen Elizabeth roses planted in the back border, and when they bloom, the soft pink amongst the glauca blue of the eucalyptus is stunning, a really impressive planting combination!

This looks a pleasant, relaxing area. :o)

To be honest TT, it's probably more a bit of stage setting, but I like to have different seating areas within the garden so you get to see it from different angles, and these colours really worked together, so seemed pleasing to the eye lol! Not a bad place for the odd glass of wine or three though :o))

Oh I like that.......

Glad you like it Dd, I love the way the colours all blend so well, and that wasn't even planned, just a happy accident that I used to my advantage. I like having various seating areas around the garden, they all give a different perspective, and I find that stimulating. :~))

Thank you Lpd,and you are very welcome,I'm glad you have joined us here at GoY. I am lucky to have a largish garden, but it takes an awful lot of looking after, which is the downside of it lol!

i bet it does, i have a tiny front garden which is MY space (and a slightly bigger back garden which has been taken over by a play house, trampoline ,our 3 rug rats and the neighbours kids!!!)
i have spent around 12 hours over the past two days tending my garden and my back is killing me, still...i would love to potter around a large garden like yours, but maybe win the lotto to hire in some help for the back breaking jobs :) x

I love this ... everything blends together so beautifully & would love to see a photo when the flowers are blooming. I loved to have little seating areas in different areas of our previous garden, which was half an acre. This garden is smaller at quarter of an acre, but still room to do that.
