Looking good. Now, I wonder what you will grow along the fence? There's an awful lot of climbers to go for..........

So much choice cant make my mind up, but soil needs attention first.

Is it a lots of compost job then Millie? Gerry did a soil test in our new garden and found it lacking in potasium. Root crops didn't grow very well, but after putting potasium salts mixed with bonemeal they have grown o.k. this year. Good luck with your new venture.

That's interesting Linda! as I can't grow beets here.....always wondered why as they are so easy to grow, supposedly! Done a ph test, but never thought of doing any other soil test. Our house is built on a potato farm....hmm.... I wonder.

We've had a super show of leeks and we've never had good leeks since we've lived here. So good luck with your testing of the soil Cottagekarer.
