Took me three days due to the weather, maybe just a little bit wobbly but had to move turf then I mixed all my own concrete and I'm feeling sooooo proud!

Thanks Chris and Janette. I love getting stuck into these kinds of jobs and it was good to do it without Grays 'help'.

There's no way in the world you need me to make you a path Flcrazy, I've seen pics of your garden remember!!!! But, we could pretend you need my help and then I could sit by your pond and keep the starlings away while I relaxed to the sound of the running water. I could wander along the paths and under arches while admiring your very interesting and beautiful plants. Then in the evening we could drink wine while keeping warm by the firepit. OK, I'm convinced, I'll get my flight booked!! lol

Thanks Spritzhenry. I'm practising so we can get on with this patio! Gray wanted to get somebody in but he's now thinking we might be able to do it ourselves. He's just got a couple of yards of walling to complete then we're on to the drains :-/

Great job Joannie, 10 out of 10 from me, and im making Apple crumble tomorrow,:) oh forgot to say the apples are from my first time Tree and im chuffed to bits..Dee..

Apple crumble is delicious, add strawberries and it's sublime !! Joking apart, doesn't it feel great to be able to use fruit from your own tree :-)

It does'e Joannie, i have a pear eating apple and plum, No plums tho :(, My first time with fruit trees, the hub checks them every day hehe, i also have tumbling toms in hanging baskets and im really pleased with them, hundreds of toms, next year im planting trailing strawberries in baskets,..

Our apple tree's been loaded this year, it's an eating apple really but i've been using them in cooking and they've been fine but the pear tree was a complete failure this year..not a one :-( Good idea with the strawberries. Mines done quite well in the strawberry pot but it restricts the number of plants. In Norfolk we saw them being grown off the ground in troughs about waist height. gray was thinking of doing something similar with growbags, not sure how he'd do it though :-/

Oh my Joannie, you had my heart swelling in my chest , it's hard to believe anyone could even remember my name, much less remember my posts. That was very touching ! But you would be surprised at what I need...hard working, confident, self-assured people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and are willing to tackle new things are few and far between. I'm glad to be in a very small part of your lives. This website is full of people with this creative mentality, I hoping if I stay in the company of great minds, eventually some of it will rub off on me ! You are all a very inspiring group of people, and thanks for revitalizing an old, tired mind...lol. Keep the posts coming !
