Water Hyacinths & Water Cabbage

Bought my floating plants for the pond this afternoon. Both these plants are considered invasive. The last couple years I have kept two of each in my pump water feature and the hyacinth has bloomed for me all summer. I'm looking forward to seeing the blooms in my new pond. The cabbage doesn't bloom. At the end of the season I take them out and throw them away. I hate to do it but they would never make it through our winters.
