Bad case of the dreaded blanket weed. Am dealing with it with barley straw and watercress. Bought a bag of it from Tesco, rooted some in water on the kitchen window sill and have now planted it in aquatic soil. I will need to keep it in check, but I'd rather do that than remove slimey blanket weed!
