Todays puzzle.....A flock of sheep, a herd of cows, a shoal of fish.. I wonder what the collective term is for snails?

DRC - thanks, you are the fountain of all knowledge - I won't forget that one given that French for snails is Escargot!
Scottish - have to agree with your sentiments on what the collective term should be!
Hywel - are your precious plants safe from snails - do they steer clear of cactii??

Nothing is safe. They even have a go at the cacti. I'm surprised at how they can slither over the sharpest spines !
