someone has been very busy

I grew around three hundred tomato plants and about fifty green bean plants last summer to sell by the roadside.I had plants upstairs and in the basement on top of tool boxes. It was my second year of doing that. First I sold the plants for two dollars each then put what didn't sell in the ground. Later I sold the tomatoes and beans that resulted for two dollars a lb. Didn't make much money but met some nice people. This year I'm growing produce just for myself. I'll plant fewer tomatoes and beans and add more variety then freeze whatever grows. I'll bet many of you are doing the same. This morning I had a tiny little brussel sprout - sprout. The beginning of summer 2010 garden!

Congratulations Tdh, it's a shame your hard work wasn't more profitable, but as you say....there are more important things...:-)
