finally decided upon how my sunken seating area should be finished. The table lifts off and can be stored over winter in the corner of the garden under the holly tree.

I looked at the before!!! and you have worked wonders. Well done. Love the Clematis. Is that a twisted Willow in the back there? They are lovely but do get very big, we had one at our last place and it had to have regular 'trims' but was very forgiving!Lovely place to relax with a glass of wine.

Pam24, yes it is a twisted willow. It is 4yrs old and was planted after a twig found in a bouquet of flowers was seen to be rooting. It had it's first hard hair cut this winter and seems to have enjoyed it as it is already in leaf. You are right about the wine too! ;-)
