So lush and tropical...I bet it's very hot and humid!

I visited the gardens towards the end of autumn (just two weeks ago) and it was lovely weather. The daytime temp. only reached 29 degrees C for a short time in the middle of the day, so it was lovely. This spot was very cool.

Bernieh:

That does sound nice and comfortable. I've read occassionally it will get cool at night or early mornig in Brisbane in Winter. But most of the time is warm.
I know its average Winter temps are warmer than San Diego, Ca. but I was surprised that this city has had freezing temps in the past...I think more than San Diego, CA. The City of San Diego has had freezing temps only 6 or 7 times in 150 years of official record keeping.

When I lived down there it would get down to 10 deg C in winter, but I think most of the time it was around 15-17. I do know a minimum winter temp. two years ago was 5 deg C - I was visiting my son and granddaughter at the time and I froze!!!

Yes, if you're used to a tropical climate...when you visit a cooler climate...you can really feel the difference. Many of my family members would come to California in Summer and would constantly complain about being cold or being too hot. It was pretty funny. It's all relative.
