Garlics

Garlics

Bit of a dissapointment after all that effort. I think there is £3s worth of seed bulbs there and was hoping they would get quite big but just didnt happen. Oh well i'm going to make one of those hangy braidy things when i've dried them properly

Ours are small also. But still delicious. Huge onions, fat courgettes and too much salad!

Steve, that is not your bad care or low quality of bulbs you bought. It is just you do not live 700 km more to the south.

Lulu, sorry for this. I am physician who is interested in history and according to many sources some of the people who were accused to be vampires in the past, in fact suffered from a form of porphyria (they have got blisters on skin when exposed to the sun, that is why they left houses only in darkness, had red colouring of teeth and garlic contain substances, which could cause harm to them). So far, you will find more on internet.
