Pretty grass bought with no name. Flat oat like seed heads. Fresh green colour in summer. Could be wrongly identified. Any suggestions?

It grew to approx 18" last year but I only bought it in August. No idea yet what it's potential height is. It's in partial shade, but our climate is dry and soil sandy. We water when we can.

Could be milium effusum 'Aureum' (Bowles Golden Grass) - if so, it prefers damp shade. How tall does it grow?
