My neighbor's long-leaved Grevillea species unknown. This shrub has
been blooming since January. Photo taken May 27, 2009.

It probably is...however, there's so many hundreds of varieties of Grevillea and Protea that grow here...and
they are so closely related.

i didnt know that. i dont have any protea but its on my list....

i love these mine started blooming about a month ago and will flower all summer. mine has shorter sharp leaves.
