Ah, that's because I spent two hours weeding it this morning...Cinders...after the lovely rain we had the ground was soft...and we get inundated with wild grass seeds.. from the field behind....and the chooks got three trays full...Always looks nice after a good drop of mannner from Heaven :o)))

Thanks everyone, I hope they taste as good as they look.
.Yay and I've found a spot for Potatoes next year...Now the Gladioli have proven themselves this year,
they will be moved into the main Garden and Cherry Toms will go elsewhere also....I so long to grow Potatoes for Easter- Summer and New Years Day.....:)))
The Chooks love those little grass shoots Pix...yep they're still playing dead, they have a roof over their Yard entrance, and they dig down, as you saw them in the pic...Now when its been raining, they're searching for insects and grit so dig the ground....they love a puddle...
Hi Tetra...that's a shame, try in Pots, like carrots, sweet peppers, and Toms can be grown in a big Pot too...a little at a time...you'd be surprised....
