Siberian Crabapple Buds

Deep pink buds to pale pink blossom. The new leaves come green and fade to a burgundy. This variety is 'Royal' or 'Royal Splendor'. A beautiful must have I'm looking for this year.

I think this is Malus royalty as well. Very nice dark red foliage as soon as the leaf matures through fall. Just tagged me one at the nursery. :-)
