you eat the flowers Irish..just take it by the tip there and pull..it pops right off eat the whole flower. I found some wild ones growing my my garden..they are not so pretty as yours as they did not start really taking off until I dug up all the old boards that were in my back garden..they have little tiny buds right now..but not bloomed at all..yours are super lovely!

Your faithful followers await.

Yeah..just take hold of the little black tip there and give it a tug..pop the whole flower in your mouth,...I would love it..wish I had one right now..very nutricious too. There was a cafe that I liked in the Islands here that had a garden of it's own..they used to put the borage flower right on your plate and in your salad ..very pretty too.

I think she's scared Cat. Would never of thought that of her but these things have a way of becoming known. Especially if they are posted on the internet.

takes a lot to scare me Toto, only thing im afraid of is seeing my reflection in the mirror every morn lol.
all i can say is it had a peppery taste, i liked the leaves better

Glad you finally had the courage to try or did you look it up? Have you tried Nasturtium yet as it also has a peppery taste, much like watercress.

hmmm..I never thought of them as being peppery..hmmm..I will have to wait a bit..mine are not bloomed out enough yet..gettting ready though...and mine are wild ..not grown from seed..wonder if there is a difference..
