I think mine have caught the frost because the leaf ends are brown ..o((((

I didn't know this plant died back in winter. I've only seen it grown as an evergreen monster plant. lol! In Coastal California this plant can have leaves to 9 feet/ 3 meters in diameter on very thick trunks/stems.

Yes they do here and its traditional to fold the leaves over the crown after the first frost's .
I have last winter tried this with many of my pots of canna's with some straw as well .Still waiting to see if they have survived...

I hope your Cannas survived! I know potted plants are more susceptible to cold damage then plants in the ground.
