It's very similar to the road outside my home, Holly! I have sat indoors watching this morning everyone slide all over the place (no damage done fortunately to anyone). I am going out myself shortly so the laugh will be on me as I try to walk safely :)

Just come in after having a brain wave! I knew the pavement and road were icy but didn't realise my front path was the same until I went out.! On my return I split open one of the sandbags and have sprinkled the sand all along my path. It has made it a lot safer but unfortunately I haven't enough for the whole road :)

it was very slippery here , you couldnt walk far.... but its all gone now thank goodness.....
