I'm rather tired of looking at icicles now Yorkshire they are like that on every window so I don't have much choice Lol :o))

He was there a while but had I opened the door or window he would have flown away :o))

Lol I have the same trouble, funny yet in spring or summer they will come into the garden while I m out there especially the robin and does nt fly, yet now it flies away like you said soon as you open the door, Perhaps we open it too suddenly, as it does say on bird watch to be very slow in actions and don't stare at them.

He flies on the window sill to let me know food is required and waits under the seat until i throw it out and tweets back when I talk to him! like you say he follows me around the garden when i'm digging and is at my feet for grubs worms whatever much braver then!
