Cuphea ignea - Cigar Plant

This plant is so widely grown here in San Diego, it's not funny. It grows quickly to more than 6ft/2m tall and blooms all year. It also naturalizes like crazy! Photo taken in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. on May 25, 2011.
