This is so pretty Amy. Not having grown this Dawn I looked up why you would bend it? and found - 'Physostegia 'Obedient Plant' (got its common name because you can bend the individual flowers in any direction you like - a nice feature for floral displays'

I have Dawn ,very gently :o) I hadn't thought of the benefits in turning them for a flower arrangement Drc , not that i'm any good at flower arranging Lol.. these have spread into quite a large group I was worried that they would ' take over' but they look nice with the other flowers popping up between them ........

These remind me of when we lived at the cottage, the children loved them , very hardy and flower for a long time too!
