Great blooms. Mine didn't do well last year but I read somewhere that the first year they don't bloom as much...Is this true?

Not sure, picked up the bulbs already in a pot so they are at least 2 years old anyway. I love the intensity of the colour

Wonderful blue. If these are already in bloom in your garden, you're WAAAAY ahead of us!
I love blue flowers. Blue, not purple. I've always thought it would be fun to make a blue flower bed with only true blue flowers (starting with light blue grape hyacinths and other little blue spring things, forget-me-nots, true-blue delphinium, Italian bugloss, those little blue things in September with the difficult name, etc. But I've never done it. :-(

Love this big clump - must aim for this sort of look next year - mine have been lovely but a bit spread out so not as big an impact!
