So clever I love it when children are taught to get involved with nature and growing, my grand daughters school has raised beds they grow food and flowers in her infant school.

Our local high school has lots of poly tunnels, which is good to see and I know quite a few of the infant schools have gardening lessons which is good!

Yes, we once had a lady on here who use to offer to teach the children in the schools to grow flowers , food, etc even though she tried she told me the teachers made her life hell, because they did nt want the disruption, my thoughts on that is food comes before education we can live with out education but not food especially with what is happening now with the weather distroying crops etc. When I ve helped out in schools I have never experienced teachers being like this.

Yes it is Helenium, I know some teachers can be funny with certain things but never about gardening for children they have always welcomed it.
