I have blue fescue all round the edge and was surprised to find new plants self seeded in the gravel. I love the colour of the rock in the middle.

This is a zebra grass that I put in last year when I divided the one in the back garden. The other one is a lot taller than this one. The rock came from a local gravel pit Celandine. We saw it when we bought the gravel and asked them to include it. It is sandstone. I think it would be a bit heavy to fit in your luggage if you flew over on Easyjet, otherwise we could find another one for you Celandine. I know how much you like rocks.

I love rocks/stones too. Have collected many over the years from holiday spots - mainly in the North of England. Was given one when we went to the Isle of Mull in 2000 for our younger son's wedding. Unfortunately it went walk-about - only hope it found a good home.
P.S. Nice photograph!

Lovely mixture. I see you have zebra grass, too.Yes, if you didn't live so far away I could come and steal your rock!
