They've already had all the cobnuts Mushy it's like walking over a carpet of crunchy shells , this tree is purple leaved and the nuts are well disguised because of the colour I think that might have helped .........

What a crop, beautiful. Since we discussed the hazel nuts Amy, was going to ask which variety you prefer. ..... Kentish cobs or these. How do you store them?

The cob nuts are bigger Dawn but these are a nice tasty nut I,m not going to get the chance to store them my granddaughter and her boyfriend have claimed half of them .. LOL... they do say the best way to store nuts is to put them in a layer of damp sand ... we never get that far with them :o(

Thanks Amy, the nuts sound delicious - I think it would be the same here - gone before they could be stored. Not sure what to go for now - Cob nut or this one?
