Yes me too, My Mahonia is one of the highlights of my winter garden, and they do have interest all year round. so glad i bought one last year, as i remeber it was my birthday pressy to myself :-)

I planted one in autumn '07, but its flowers tend to lie flatter - it's Mahonia japonica - it is nice, but I should have got 'Charity' then. So now there are two!

good for you, mine is called 'Lionel Fortescue' the flowers do stand up rather than lay flat, and they are quite big too which is good, and looking at the shape of it now (only just over a year since it went in), i think it will be tall and tree like which is just what i wanted, did you see AndrewR's picture of his this year - fantasic, i think his is 'Charity'

OOOoooooo I want to get a Mahonia, anything that flowers in winter must be good for cheering up a garden.
