Tiny Blue Butterflies

Tiny Blue Butterflies

Along the river stones I found a bright blue butterfly flitting about. I just couldn't get a clear shot, but still lovely among the stones.

TY TT. Our riverstones are lovely, many jade and hemotite pieces. If it had held still a moment, it would be a cracking shot I think. :-)

Not easy taking pics of butterflies on the move !

Maybe some time you can take more photos of just the stones and pebbles ... ?
... they make lovely photos.

I will! I hadn't even thought of it until I saw how pleasing the stones came out. There will always be a little fluttery thing to pop in and out. :-)

Thanks ... I'll look forward to more pics for GoYpedia.

I put the smaller roundish stones on "Pebbles" and the larger round stones on "Cobbles" :o) Take a look at the pages... may give you some ideas of photos you can take. The stones have come out very clearly in the above pic,... lovely colours and shapes.... :o)

Lovely photo GT I have just been on 'google' to see if I can identify it . Do you think its is a common blue?

Could be it. It did keep its wings back a bit, more like a moth if that changes anything, reminded be of a cabbage white but blue. What a beautiful picture!

LOL!

Its GOY has done it to me. Gotta find that proper name, even butterflies. lol.

Yes GT it is interesting to find the real names of the flowers that are in the garden eg I learned 'choisya ternata' on GOY instead of 'the bush by the shed!' :-)
