I have several pink ones.

Yes - Phlox paniculata - they are very reliable and hardy perennials. They come in colours from white to purple, some with stripy flowers and a few with variegated leaves. Great to have in the garden!

Great close-up Spritz. These are one of my garden favorites. It's hard to believe it's already time for the phlox to be blooming ! This year is really flying by ....:-(

It certainly is - but at least we've had a better summer (so far!)...remember our moaning about constant rain last year?

I've had problems with mildew in the past - do you ever get this with Phlox?

Yes, in wet summers. I just cut that particular stem out to the base.

Aww, thanks Spritz - that's why mine are OK this year then :-))))
I'll remember that.

Get them chopped as soon as you see any mildewed stems, as it can spread!

Great, thanks for the info - this is where I've gone wrong in the past as the plant has been taken over with it.
