Lonicera japonica berries

This Honeysuckle belongs over the wall next door, yet likes to spend it's time hanging around in my garden....:o) The scent of the small and dainty flowers is heavenly for us in the summer, and in the Autumn, these coal black berries are a treat for the birds.

thats just what i thought Amy. i love blackcurrants ~ bought a new bush this year and got loads of blackcurrants from it i was really pleased ~ just hope it will be as good next year.

You did well with your blackcurrant bush, Sticki.....have you any tips for me? I planted one and a Redcurrant a couple of years ago, but there's only been a handful of berries on each.
They're probably not in the best spot, though, I might have to plant them amongst the flowers where there's most sun.

i think it was the garden centre that did the good work ~ i added some sort of compost but that was all, its not very sunny. i was hoping you would give me tips to make sure it is as good next year? i will let you know how it gets on!
