Sorry yours didn't do well. This plant seems to like our European climate. It's in a partially shaded spot where the soil is quite good because the previous owner had ducks and chickens etc running there.

Great pic. ! I love this plant, just wished it loved me. I tried to grow it on two different occasions...the results were the same, dead as heck !
