Puddocks in the pond

Here is a pic of one of the frogs that were filling the pond yesterday. There were masses of them, all peering out of the water, croaking happily. Normally the frogs lurk in damp places in the garden. But at this time of year they head for the pond to fill it with frogspawn. This will give us both more frogs and a yummy meal for the diving beetles!!
