Vegetables

My boyfriend made this for me to grow vegetables in. Right now we have basil, some tomatoes and a cucumber vine growing. Unfortunately, we got a late start so I dont think we'll actually be harvesting any cucumbers, but the tomatoes are starting to ripen. As you can see from the photo, the plants do not get full sun all day so we just recently put up the strings. If the vines are able to get up to the top of the fence they'll have all the sunlight they need. I'm sure next year when we plant earlier we'll have a much better harvest.

I applaud your effort, a good start.

Yes...a great start, Judi. How 'bout moving the bed into the sun? that would ensure your success with sun lovers..like tomatoes and cucs.
