Potato Sacks being sold off for Charity.

A local Garden centre is the biggest retailer of seed potatoes in the county. This year, the hessian sacks in which the potatoes are delivered are being sold off at 25p each, proceeds to the British Heart Foundation. I bought a few, which will disguise the compost bags in which we will be growing our own potatoes, and other veg this year, and make them look more "authentic".

Well done to you, too, Megan, for your fundraising. The BHF is also a favourite in my family, and the local shop is the best of all the charity shops in my town. Am going back to the GC for more sacks later today - there was a large pile of them. :-))

Great idea for fund raising for the B.H.F. , it's a charity we have been veryinvolved with, to the point of dressing up in the "Heartybeat" costume and collecting in pubs on red heart day !
I hope it raises lots of money ,well done for buying some, David.
