I love snowdrops but never have much luck with growing from bulbs. They are expensive to buy in the green too. - but at least its not money wasted! Never heard of Autumn flowering types.

Poppy they settle better if bought in the green around flowering time,plenty to be had on Ebay in Jan/Feb .
the one in the picture originates around Greece and likes to be warm.
