Lovely bright mixed flower bed

We stepped off the catamaran ferry from quaint Mackinaw City onto even more quaint Mackinaw Island, & were greeted by this gorgeous riot of colour as we headed for some small shops at the entrance to the ferry dock. Apart from emergency vehicles, no mechanised form of transport is allowed on this lovely island, so transport is via horse & carriages of various kinds ... horses mainly the huge Clydesdale-types. Will do a blog on this fascinating place within the next few days.
